Ice Dragons live exclusively in the Arctic circle, where few humans have the opportunity to study them. The fierce creatures use sharp claws for excellent traction in ice and snow, but they can just as easily soar in the cold sky. Instead of fire, they breathe frozen air.

The Ice Dragon adapted to its northern environment over many generations, descending from wild Forest Dragons that lived further south. Movement of the Earths plates and a changing climate required many changes. Ice Dragons developed stronger wings for staying afloat in the cold air.
